It mimics the actions of a typical defibrillator and, when used in conjunction with a dummy, makes for real world type scenarios, especially when time is critical. There's a button to set the training mode (5 available). The speaker is loud and clear, and it comes with a couple sets of pads, Everything fits compactly into the included zip up case, which brings great convenience.
